What is your inspiration when planning your wedding?
My mom and I planned my wedding together and we have very similar taste so we were a great team! If I’m being honest, I totally stole the idea for our invitations from The Royal Wedding of Harry and Megan. For everything else, we wanted it to feel simple yet beautiful, elegant and classic.

Did you incorporate any fun themes/motifs or design elements?
My Mom is an expert with all the little details! We had our monogram from our invitation on all the menus, cocktail napkins and bathroom towels. My favorite element of design was this big beautiful tree we had in our entry way behind the escort card table. It was breath taking and set the tone for the wedding as all the guests entered.

Did you include any special traditions, old or new?
My husband is Greek Orthodox and I’m Jewish, so we incorporated both of our religions into the ceremony. It was really special as we were able to make the ceremony our own. We both wore a Greek Stefana (crown) under the traditional Jewish Chuppah.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Planning my wedding with my mom was so special to me. I knew this would be a once in a lifetime experience so I really tried to enjoy it and not stress too much. It all works out in the end and it will be amazing no matter what!
